KDE is great

Linux is great, I use Linux (Debian of course) and for the desktop KDE is the best (Gnome is good but for me KDE is better) linux desktop enviroment, for my little family.

My wife likes browsing the web, and chatting.

And the "microsoft's solutions" aren't solutions for me. ;)

All in one, Kontact is teh PIM tools that all need.

Really Kontact is a mix of 5 or more KDE applicactions, actualy KMail, Korganizer, KNotes, KAdresssBook, Kweather, KNewTicnect and more are integrated into same window.
